§ Mr. ChopeThe draft guidance refers to the part that the planning system can play in alleviating the problems of access to housing by ensuring that there is an adequate and continuing supply of land for new housing; and that local policies allow for conversions of existing houses into smaller units and for redevelopment at higher densities where appropriate.
