§ Mr. BrookeNone. The cost of assessing the value of public contracts in England to be opened to Community- 171W wide bidding would not be justified. The European Commission is currently investigating the effect of applying procurement rules to contracts above various value thresholds in sectors excluded from the existing Community directives.
