Mr. Fisher

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish a table showing(a) the works of art, objects or artefacts currently on loan from national museums and galleries at 11 Downing street, (b) the museum or gallery from whose collections they are loaned and (c) the term of each loan.

[holding answer 17 April 1989]: The works of art on loan to No. 11 Downing street from galleries are as follows. Details of the terms of loan for each painting can be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
