§ Mr. Peter WalkerI have at my disposal a wide range of policy mechanisms to stimulate and sustain economic 669W activity in Wales, principally regional industrial assistance, the activities of the Welsh Development Agency and Mid Wales Development and support for urban aid. The fact that seasonally adjusted unemployment has fallen for 34 consecutive months, factory lettings are at record levels and that Wales continues to attract significant inward investment testifies to the success of the commitment which the Government have to economic regeneration in the Principality.
