58. Mr. Tony Lloyd

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has recently received concerning the future of' Hong Kong.

Mr. Eggar

We regularly receive representations from organisations and individual members of the public, both in this country and in Hong Kong, about a wide range of issues connected with the future of Hong Kong. We are also in close contact with the Hong Kong Government, who have their own channels for consultation and monitoring of public opinion in Hong Kong.
