To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what are the procedures that an hon. Member needs to follow when seeking to visit a constituent detained in one of Her Majesty's prisons.

He or she should contact the governor of the prison, who will normally issue a special visiting order admitting the hon. or right hon. Member to the prison.
