To ask the Prime Minister what action Her Majesty's Government are taking to arrest world climatic changes.

I refer the hon. Member to the Government's reply to the first report from the Environment Committee, Session 1987–88 (Cm. 552).
The United Kingdom continues to play a full part in international consideration of the climate change issue, in the WMO/UNEP intergovernmental panel on climate change, the EC and in other special fora.
