§ Mr. NichollsBecause the firm is insolvent the amount of the protective award is payable from the redundancy fund subject to the various limits specified in part VII of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978. My Department is awaiting the insolvency practitioner's statement of the amount due. When this is available we shall pay the employees as soon as possible.
