To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what representations he has received concerning the reform of the Hearing Aid Council Act 1968.

My Department received a large number of representations from bodies about the Hearing Aid Council (Amendment) Bill sponsored by the hon. Member for Ynys Môn (Mr. Jones). These bodies represent dispensers of hearing aids, consumers and those with specialised medical and audiological knowledge.
