§ Mr. FreemanNo. The working party chaired by Sir Raymond Hoffenberg examined this suggestion and considered that it would increase the anxiety of patients entering hospital. It would be unlikely to increase substantially the availability of organs because most potential donors are unconcious on admission to hospital.
