§ Mr. Rifkind[holding answer 4 April 1989]: In 1988 my Department spent £406,970 on management consultancy and £70,066 on computer consultancy.
The contracts awarded by my Department in 1988 were as follows:
and fifth years, to the conclusion of a satisfactory contract with the electricity supply industry in England and Wales for exports of electricity over the interconnector amounting to 600 MW per annum.
