To ask the Secretary of State for Employment whether he has any plans to increase the level of ET premiums in 1989 or 1990.

My right hon. Friend has no plans to increase the training premium part of trainees' allowances. However trainee allowances on employment training (ET) will increase from April 1989 when benefits are uprated.
