§ Mr. Norman Lamont[holding answer 22 March 1989]: The latest year for which estimates for counties in Great Britain are available is 1986–87: they are provided in the accompanying table. I regret that estimates for Northern Ireland counties, for metropolitan districts and for London boroughs are not available.
