§ The Prime MinisterI have not received any recent representations, although I am regularly involved in a range of matters regarding the United Kingdom's relationship with the Allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. Today, of course, marks the 40th anniversary of NATO's foundation. During that time, the Alliance has been uniquely successful in preserving peace in Europe and in providing the basis for the prosperity and stability that we all enjoy.
