Mr. Patnick

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has decided on the additional housing investment programme resources to be made available to local authorities with substantial housing defects obligations.

Mr. Trippier

We have decided to allocate the £15 million of HIP resources to 75 local authorities, which are today being notified individually by my Department's regional controllers. The authorities receiving such allocations are as follows:
