To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what assessment he has made of the need for improved road and rail transport links between Wales and England and with the continent in order to provide an adequate communications system for the economy of south Wales.

There are already good road links between south Wales and England. These will be enhanced by the second Severn crossing.
