To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what is the policy of British Transport police towards possible co-operation with vigilante groups, including that known as the Guardian Angels; and if he will make a statement.

I understand that British Transport police have made clear that the force does not welcome and cannot support proposed patrolling of either the British Rail or London Underground systems by the Guardian Angels or similar groups.
