§ Mr. ThorneTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence what progress has been made with the formation of the Royal Engineers TA unit in Jersey announced during the Army debate on 26 January at column189.
§ Mr. FreemanAgreement has been reached with the States of Jersey authorities on the terms for establishment of the unit. Initial recruitment has been encouraging and I shall be visiting the new unit on 29 October.
