To ask the Lord President of the Council what sections of the Palace of Westminster are reserved for Members and Officers of the House only; and if he will make a statement.

Access within the House of Commons is confined to right hon. and hon. Members, Officers of the House and staff on duty in the following areas:

Members and staff on duty

  • Members' Smoking Room
  • Members' Chess Room

Members, Officers and staff on duty

  • Members' Cloakroom
  • Members' Staircase
  • Members' Dining Room
  • Members' Tea Room
  • Library B, C and D Rooms
  • The Terrace, northern end
