To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what steps have been taken to reduce the costs of his Department's London office space.

The Department will very shortly complete its commitment to disperse 1,400 posts to Glasgow and in the meantime, is conducting the review announced by my right hon. Friend the Paymaster General on 31 March 1988,Official Report, columns 610–11.
