§ Mr. NichollsThe Health and Safety Executive contribution to the scientific investigation is estimated at £0.75 million, including eight man years' work. Work on the investigation was accommodated primarily by changing priorities in research programmes and delaying work on particular projects, for example, the European Commission's major technological hazards research programme.
