§ Mr. ParkinsonSubject to parliamentary approval of the necessary Supplementary Estimate, the cash limit for class VI, vote 3 is increased by £0.90 million from £25.888 million to £26.788 million. This is to cover expenditure in relation to the Piper Alpha technical investigation and public inquiry. This increase is offset by a reduction of £0.90 million in the cash limit for class VI, vote 2 from £278.822 to £277.922 million. These changes will not therefore lead to an increase in the planned total of public expenditure.
