To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the inner area programme bids submitted for 1988–89, indicating which have been approved; and if he will make a statement.

Inner area programmes for 1988–89 have been submitted by all 57 local authorities invited to prepare them and all have now been approved. Urban programme expenditure allocations to support the projects in each IAP have also been confirmed.
