§ Mr. SpearingTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will tabulate in theOfficial Report in tonnes of white sugar equivalents, or raw unrefined sugar where appropriate, the quantities of sugar in the sugar year 1987–88 which were (a) imported into the United Kingdom from African, Caribbean and Pacific states of European Economic Community, (b) imported as raw or white sugar, stating their main country of origin, (c) produced from sugar beet grown in the United Kingdom, (d) exported as raw or refined sugar to member states of the European Economic Community or other countries, respectively and (e) absorbed by retail and bulk domestic sugar markets, respectively, together with any other relevant information, including stocks in hand and carried over, related to the above figures.
