§ Mr. WorthingtonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish a table in theOfficial Report, in the same format as his written reply of 25 July, on receipts to his programme classified as charges in respect of his programme expenditure over the years 1982–83 to 1990–91, and consistent with the answer of 27 May, Official Report, columns 375–76, indicating the receips in respect of running costs expenditure, together with a supplementary analysis indicating, separately, the amounts of receipts in respect of programme expenditure and of running costs expenditure estimated to have been met from other public expenditure programmes.
§ Mr. Hurd[holding answer 28 July 1988]: The following figures, which are consistent with those given by my right 884W hon. Friend the Chief Secretary to the Treasury on 29 July at columns 747–48, relate to receipts which offset running cost expenditure for which the Home Ofice is responsible. The Home Office receives no receipts classified as being paid from other public expenditure programmes in respect of running costs. Figures for receipts in respect of programme expenditure paid from other public expenditure programmes could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
