§ The Prime MinisterThe Government have committed some £186,000 to studies commissioned by Westminster city council into ways of improving the environment and traffic conditions in Parliament square. Westminster's consultants have recently reviewed options for long-term improvements. The Government will be considering the way forward with Westminster, the House authorities and other interested parties. The implementation date for improvements will depend on which scheme is selected.
