Women's Prisons

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what are the creche facilities at each of the women's prisons in England and Wales; and if he will make a statement on his Department's policy on such facilities.

None of these prisons has creches. But they exist, staffed by volunteers, at a number of male establishments. The Department is encouraging governors of establishments without such facilities to set them up wherever possible.
