§ Mr. Peter MorrisonNo recent extensive studies related to lamp replacement have been carried out. However, my Department has supported several projects concerned with improved lighting design and control in commercial and public buildings under the energy efficiency office's energy efficiency demonstration scheme. These have demonstrated that cost effective energy savings of over 50 per cent. can be achieved.
