Mr. Dickens

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he proposes to monitor the forthcoming United Nations convention on the rights of the child.

We have, since 1980, played an active part in the working group set up to draft the United Nations convention on the rights of the child. We shall continue to do so.
