To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what information he has on the part to be played by Westland in the development with Agusta of a version of the A129 helicopter for the Argentine air force; and if he will make a statement.

Westland has informed the Ministry of Defence that it is not involved in the joint Italian/Argentine helicopter project.
