To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) whether the United States military authorities are required to give notification of, or seek permission for, low flying or other exercises by B52 aircraft in the United Kingdom;

(2) how many times United States B52 aircraft have been brought to the United Kingdom in 1988;

(3) if he will list (a) those bases in the United Kingdom at which United States B52 aircraft have landed in 1988, (b) the number of such visits and (c) the average number of aircraft involved.
