A new financial protocol was agreed which will enable United Kingdom exporters to take advantage of increased ECGD backed credits totalling £340 million for contracts signed in 1989. £65 million of this is specifically related to the contract won by NEI for the provision of power-generating equipment for the Al Shemal power station.
