§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Social Security (Lord Skelmersdale)The equivalent of 3,209 full-time posts are currently engaged on social security fraud investigation. It is not possible to give a detailed grade breakdown of these posts, although most will be at Executive Officer level. The current number of staff allocated to fraud investigation is 3,335.
