Mr. William Ross

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will call for a report from the chief constable of the Royal Ulster Constabulary as to what it has cost, from the last local government elections to the present date, to provide protection and escorts for Sinn Fein councillors before, during and after meetings of each council which has Sinn Fein members; and how many hours approximately of police time are taken up monthly by such duties in each council.
