§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyHer Majesty's inspectorate of pollution carried out monitoring with respect to premises authorised under the Radioactive Substances Act 1960 where this is deemed necessary to confirm that radioactive discharge levels are environmentally safe. In addition a RIMNET monitoring station has been set up at Watnall in the Nottingham area.
