§ Mr. TrippierNottingham city council reported that 0.24 per 1,000 of households in their area were homeless and temporarily placed in bed-and-breakfast accommodation at 30 June 1988. The corresponding estimate for all English authorities is 0.65 per thousand households. Some of the cost of providing this accommodation may be offset508W by contributions from household or by DHSS allowances. For Welsh figures I refer the hon. Member to my right hon.
