To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what plans he has to seek to increase the wages, holiday and sick pay, and improving the living conditions of equestrian employees.

None. Terms and conditions of employment are a matter for employers and employees or their representatives to determine. Sick pay is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Security.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is the average weekly pay for equestrian workers employed in stables, riding schools, stud farms, hunting and livery yards.
