§ Mr. Norman LamontAbout £118 million in class 4 contributions was collected in 1978–79, and about £435 million is expected in the current financial year. Estimates of the number of class 4 contributions and the deciles of self employment income were not compiled for 1978–79, and predictions for the current financial year have not been made.
