To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many people were in receipt of family income supplement between 11 April 1987 and 30 September 1987 at the social security offices in: Downpatrick, Ballynahinch, Newcastle, Kilkeel, Newry and Banbridge; and what was the total payment made during that period.

Family income supplement was administered centrally and information is not available in the precise form requested. However, it is estimated that the number of families getting family income supplement on 27 October 1987 in each social security office area was:
