§ Mr. LuceI informed the House on 21 October 1987 that I had suggested that public library authorities should await the outcome of prospective court proceedings. In the light of the recent House of Lords judgment, I no longer wish to advise public libraries against stocking "Spycatcher". It is for them to make up their own minds.
