§ Mr. McGradyTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what plans he has to meet representatives of the Industrial Development Board to discuss industrial promotion and enterprise centres in South Down, similar to what has been carried out in Derry and Carrickfergus.
§ Mr. ViggersThe Industrial Development Board local area initiatives were instigated by the board on a trial basis in Carrickfergus and Londonderry in 1986. The initiatives are now being reviewed by the board and a decision on the future role of this type of scheme in the pilot areas and any other part of the Province will be taken in due course.
