§ Mr. FraserTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action has been taken in the Turks and Caicos islands to prosecute the former Attorney-General, Terence Donegan, and to recover from him Crown lands appropriated to him and persons under his control.
§ Mr. EggarMr. Terence Donegan has not been prosecuted by the Turks and Caicos Islands Government. Following a commission of inquiry, he was served with a deportation order in July 1987 and will not be allowed to re-enter the territory.
The question of restitution of alienated Crown lands is a matter for consideration by the Turks and Caicos Islands Government.
