§ Mr. Michael ForsythMy right hon. and learned Friend last met the president of the union at the royal highland show on 21 June. The discussion covered a wide range of issues concerning Scottish agriculture. My noble Friend the Minister of State has regular meetings with union representatives to discuss issues of current concern. The most recent of these meetings was on 26 September.
