§ Mr. ButcherLocal education authorities are playing an active part in encouraging and facilitating the development of links between schools and businesses. The recent report of the CBI business-education task force suggested that industry should now do more to foster such links, particularly in the light of the forthcoming reduction in school leavers entering the job market.
