§ Mr. CohenTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the incident on 30 October on the Salisbury plain training area in which a smoke grenade was discharged on a road by United States Air Force personnel at a time when the ranges were open to members of the public.
§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe incident is being investigated. If disciplinary action is necessary it will he taken by the appropriate authorities. At this stage it appears that USAF personnel were not involved.
