To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give his assessment as to whether each of the following local housing authorities manages within the existing legislative framework successfully to control the numbers and conditions of houses in multiple occupation in its area (1) Kensington and Chelsea, (2) Lewisham, (3) Haringey, (4) Leeds, (5) Calderdale, (6) Lambeth, (7) Bristol, (8) Enfield, (9) Brent, (10) Camden, (11) Islington, (12) Plymouth, (13) Hackney, (14) Westminster, (15) Wirral, (16) Wandsworth, (17) Kingston upon Hull, (18) Merton, (19) Newham, (20) Ealing, (21) Harrow, (22) Hounslow, (23) Southwark, (24) Blackpool, (25) Liverpool, (26) Torbay, (27) Worthing, (28) Hove, (29) Redbridge, (30) Birmingham, (31) Bath, (32) Bradford, (33) Newcastle upon Tyne, (34) Oxford and (35) Manchester.
