HC Deb 07 November 1988 vol 140 c34W
Mr. Rooker

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on progress made on inquiries in respect of the Wormhoudt massacre during the summer adjournment.

Mr. Freeman

Following the review of the evidence we hold and the reopening of the case in Lubeck, British officials visited the office of the Lubeck public prosecutor for discussions during the summer. Arrangements are now being made for the prosecutor to examine our material in detail, as part of the active pursuit of evidence which he is undertaking.
