§ Mr. LilleyIn the 11 realignments of the currencies in the exchange rate mechanism of the European monetary system since its inception in 1979, the central rates of the deutschmark, French franc and Italian lira against the ecu have been revalued by +22, -16 and -22½ per cent. respectively.
