§ The Attorney-GeneralIn consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service fraud investigation group, officers of the British Transport police are inquiring into certain allegations of crime involving British Rail in England and Wales. The inquiries are at an early stage and no prosecution decision can be taken until they are complete. The prosecution of offences in Scotland is a matter for my Noble and learned Friend the Lord Advocate.
