§ Mr. RyderMy right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and I are in the process of carrying out a review of the Food Act 1984 and the Food and Drugs (Scotland) Act 1956. We expect to reach a conclusion shortly. It will be for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland to decide subsequently, and separately, what action he may wish to take in respect of food legislation applicable in Northern Ireland.
